Arduino "Robot Shield"

We are delighted to announce our brand new "Robot Shield" an Arduino shield designed specifically for small robot applications.

The design of the Robot Shield utilises the same dual, bi-directional motor driver circuit as the popular "motor shield" but replaces the original L293 with the improved SN754410.

In addition to the motor drive circuitry, the Robot Shield also has dedicated headers for I2C, SPI and Serial communications. The I2C port includes the necessary 1k8 pull-up resistors which can be easily disconnected by removing the fitted jumpers.

All other I/O's have standard 3-pin headers allowing sensors and servos to be added without any soldering!

The Robot Shield is available as a Kit (£14.95 inc. VAT) or Fully Assembled and tested (£19.95 inc. VAT).
